Vicki S. Blaylock is a Certified Paralegal through the National Association of Legal Assistants. She has been with Kain & Burke, PC since 1990. Originally from Illinois, she moved to Colorado in 1979. Vicki is married with two grown children and two grandchildren. She focuses on estate planning and probate, as well as business law, real estate, and litigation support.
Her knowledge and expertise are based upon many years of experience and successful completion of a three year course of study to become a Certified Paralegal. She is constantly upgrading her knowledge through daily work at the law firm and through attendance of continuing education courses.

Christy Moore has been a paralegal since 1979. She spent 16 years at the District Attorney's Office, and has been with Kain & Burke, PC since 1998. Her experience encompasses case preparation for trial litigation, witness interviews, client preparation, trial experience in the courtroom, and attorney support throughout the litigation process.
Christy, a native of Colorado, is married with three grown children, and is the grandmother of four. She works in the areas of criminal law, litigation, and family law. Christy has developed many contacts throughout Western Colorado, including court clerks and District Attorney's Office personnel, as well as friends in law enforcement. She also is the office manager for Kain & Burke, PC.

Andrea Faudree, legal secretary, joined Kain & Burke, PC in 2009. She grew up on a 
sheep ranch in Loma, Colorado with her family, parents Speero and Mary Papas, sister Maria and brother Darius. Andrea and her husband Mark are proud to call the Grand Valley their home.
Andrea's career background includes general office/public relations, bookkeeping, and teaching. She coordinated the Higher Education Admissions Requirement program for Mesa State College, as well as the Cost of Care program for the Garfield County Sheriff's Office. She holds a BA in Communication/Journalism from the University of Northern Colorado and completed an Elementary Education licensing program at Mesa State College.

Annette James, paralegal, 
has been with the firm for over eight years, having returned to Kain & Burke, PC following her employment for four years as a Language Arts teacher at Central High School.
Annette is a native of Grand Junction. She graduated from Central High School, later receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a concentration in Secondary Education from Mesa State College (now Colorado Mesa University) in 2004. Annette's husband of ten years, Josh, is an eighth grade history teacher in Montrose, Colorado. They are the proud parents of Elina and Jesse.

Christina Bauguess is Kain & Burke's newest runner/file clerk. She was born and raised in Grand Junction, then spent thirteen years in Nebraska. She returned to her hometown of Grand Junction seven years ago. Christina is married to her best friend, David. She has two teenage sons, a grown step son, and a daughter-in-law.
Christina's background is in Office Management/Secretarial work, but she currently is attending school to receive an degree in paralegal studies. With a year and a half to go, she is just getting started toward earning her Associate's degree, then plans to continue and earn a Bachelor's degree. Upon receiving her Bachelor's degree, Christina is considering attending law school, but has not yet decided in regard to that venture.
